Chris Ferguson of Acclaim Insulation and I chatted on the phone the other day about his experience with Capital Now. Here’s what he had to say!
Katie: How long have you been a client of Capital Now?
Chris: 5 years or so.
Katie: In one word, how would you describe your experience with Capital Now?
Katie: Did you have any hesitations before partnering with Capital Now.
Chris: No, not at the time.
Katie: What was the turning point that got you to take action and partner with Capital Now?
Chris: My business was growing fast and banks weren’t helping.
Katie: And then what happened?
Chris: After partnering with Capital Now, we kept growing!
Katie: Has your business changed as a result of your partnership with Capital Now?
Chris: Yes, it kept me growing! We made it happen with no money!
Katie: Tell me about a situation where Capital Now went out of their way to help?
Chris: There’s been a couple times. First, they’re quick with funding. I can send something in at 9am and it’s funded by 11am the same day! Also, I’ve done a promissory loan with them too. I don’t think they do that anymore but it’s something they offered me. I also got a little bit of legal advice when a customer of mine went broke on me. Gerry was very helpful with that.
Katie: Can you think of a time where Capital Now was difficult to deal with?
Chris: No, not really.
Katie: What, if anything, would you change about your experience with Capital Now?
Chris: The cost is high. A fixed rate for long time customers would be nice.
Katie: What would you say to prospective clients of Capital Now?
Chris: Accounts receivable financing is definitely an option to keep your business moving forward if you don’t have the capital to keep growing. You have to be in the right business. If you have tight margins, it may not help as much.
Katie: Do you have any additional feedback or suggestions?
Chris: I appreciate the way they are. No, I think I’ve said everything.
