I recently had a chance to catch up with the owner of a transportation company we assisted and this is what he had to say about his experience with Capital Now.
Katie: How long have you been a client of Capital Now?
Owner: 2 months
Katie: In 1 word, how would you describe your experience with Capital Now?
Katie: Did you have any hesitations before partnering with Capital Now?
Owner: Yes. The best way to describe it is that I’m a numbers guy and getting clarification on fees and services is a big thing for me so I had many emails back and forth with Gerry regarding all of my questions and concerns. I was comparing 3 different companies.
Katie: And so what made you choose Capital Now?
Owner: They are an Alberta based company so they know what we’re going through.
Katie: What was the turning point that got you to take action?
Owner: Just emailing back and forth with Gerry and phone calls with him. That was basically it.
Katie: Has your business changed as a result of your partnership with Capital Now?
Owner: We are still the same. Still plugging away.
Katie: Tell me about a situation where Capital Now went out of their way to help?
Owner: I talked to Natalie while she was in Europe and I had a question. She was on holidays and she answered the phone. They were just really flexible in wanting to work with me and making sure that I was going to be happy. They have been a big help all around.
Katie: Can you think of a situation where Capital Now was difficult to deal with?
Owner: Originally there was a miscommunication between me and Gerry and we have it sorted out now.
Katie: What, if anything, would you change about your experience with CNI?
Owner: Nothing, yet.
Katie: What would you say to prospective clients of Capital Now?
Owner: I would say they are super easy to work with and they make my life easier!
Katie: What can we do to surprise you? What can we do, not to make this better, but to make you tell everyone about it?
Owner: Give me the winning lottery numbers! Something to surprise me? I don’t know if there’s anything they could do to surprise me. I am already working on getting one of my friends over to Capital Now. Their services are a lot easier to deal with than most traditional factoring companies. So there is not much they can do to surprise me.
Katie: Do you have any additional feedback or suggestions for CNI?
Owner: I know it is tough one being smaller but maybe look at doing some fuel cards. I know a lot of companies offer a fuel card where they get a bulk discount. That was the one thing I liked about [the other company] was the fuel card. It was just taken right out of our weekly settlement. We always made sure we had limits on the cards and they had holdbacks on that until we realized that the usage limits were.
